Transform your outdoor area and say goodbye to uninspiring landscapes. Are you dealing with a worn-out deck that's about to collapse, plain concrete slabs, large areas of unexciting grass, or just a few of those home depot circular stepping stones?
Your outdoor space should be a continuation of your home, a place to make lasting memories. To help you see what's possible, we begin with a computer-generated sketch. We then work hard to make your vision a stunning reality.
At Pfeifer Landscaping, we're excited about updating old landscapes. We are ready to turn that bland concrete slab into your dream patio, a perfect spot for enjoying the outdoors with family and friends.
Why Paver Patios?
Each patio we build has a personalized 3D design. We offer a wide range of paver styles, colors, and patterns to suit every taste and complement any landscape. We work closely with you to bring your vision to life, ensuring every detail is tailored to meet your specific preferences and requirements.
Open-graded base ensures enhanced durability and stability. Open graded allows for excellent drainage, reducing the risk of water damage and heaving due to freeze-thaw cycles. The compacted layers provide a firm foundation, preventing shifting and sinking over time.
Eco-Friendly and Low Maintenance
The open-graded base facilitates better water percolation, recharging groundwater and reducing runoff, making it an eco-friendly choice. It deters weed growth and is less hospitable to burrowing insects, leading to a significant reduction in maintenance needs.
Inside Our Patio Installation Process
We use the open-graded base system which is a process that combines precision and practicality. The area is excavated to a specific depth which accounts for your base materials and paver heights. Geotextile fabric is installed over the soil to prevent contamination and aid drainage, ensuring the longevity and stability of the patio. The open-graded base is then constructed using ASTM #57 stone, and compacted in layers followed by a bedding layer of finer ASTM #8 stone to provide a level surface for the pavers. The final steps include laying the pavers, filling the joints with sand, and compacting them to ensure a stable and aesthetically pleasing finish.
